Peanut Banana Wraps.

Smooth peanut butter1/3 cup75 mL
Medium flour tortillas 22
(about 8 inch, 20 cm, diameter)
Small bananas, sliced22
Liquid honey (optional)1 1/2 tbsp.25 mL

Spread peanut butter evenly on each tortilla, leaving 1 inch (2.5 cm) edge.

Arrange banana slices, overlapping, down centre of peanut butter. Drizzle with honey. Fold in sides. Roll up from bottom to enclose bananas securely. Cut in half diagonally. Makes 4 halves.

Berries

berry Me Alive

1 1/4 cups of milk

1 cup of frozen mixed berries

1 cup of raspberry yogurt

1/3 orange juice

2 tablespoons instant vanilla pudding powder

pour all 5 ingredients into blander. Cover with lid. Bland until smooth.
pour into Glasses. Makes enough for 2 people.

Sun-dried tomato dip

Now this is something completely different.

this recipe if from: The best of the best and more.


8 oz. or 250g light spreadable cream cheese

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

1 tablespoon Lemon juice

1/4 cup finely chopped sun-dried tomatoes. (reconstituted if dried)

1/4 cup fresh basil chopped.

2 garlic cloves minced.

mix cream cheese, mayonnaise and lemon juice together in a bowl. Add tomatoes, Basil and Garlic and mix well. let sit for at least 1 hour before serving. Serve with crackers or bagel chips.

Banana chocolate Chip Muffins


I'm Trying Something New..... MUFFINS


3 large Bananas

3/4 cup white sugar

1 egg

Mash Bananas. Add sugar and egg

1/3 cup of melted margarine or butter

Add margarine

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/s teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups of flour

1 cup of chocolate chips

add dray ingredients and bake at 350 for 20 minutes.

makes on dozen.

Baked Apples




This recipe is from the cookbook: The encyclopedia of Creative cooking. pictured above.

Baked Apples

6 apples

6 tablespoons of sugar

2 tablespoons white sugar

2 tablespoons butter or margarine

cinnamon to taste

Wash and core apples; pare one-third of way down, or slit skin around apple about halfway down. Place in baking dish; put sugar and butter in center of each apple. sprinkle with cinnamon; pour water around apples to prevent from sticking. Bake, uncovered at 400 F until tender, 45 minutes to 1 hour.

GUESS WHAT MORE COOKIES.

raisin- chocolate chip oatmeal cookies.



1 cup margarine or butter

3/4 cup white sugar

3/4 cup brown sugar

2 eggs

1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla

Cream margarine and sugars together in large bowl. Beat in eggs and vanilla.

2 cups flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

Combine dry ingredients in small bowl and blend into wet ingredients.

2 cups quick cooking oats

1 cup raisins

1 cup chocolate chips

stir in oats, raisins and chocolate chips. drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10- 12 minutes.


Guess what tomorrows recipe doesn't involve cookies. YAY
